Guaranteed and maximum award amounts
Guaranteed award
Approved applicants will receive their TotalAssist fund‘s guaranteed award amount of grant funding.
Maximum award
The maximum award is the maximum funding amount a grantee may receive within their grant eligibility period, which is 12 months from the day of approval. The maximum award amount equals the guaranteed amount plus unguaranteed funding.
If you use the entire guaranteed award amount and need more funds, additional funding up to the maximum award amount will be made available to you immediately if the funding is available.
Do I have to request the maximum award amount?
No. If you use the entire balance of your guaranteed amount before the end of your grant’s 12-month award period, you will automatically receive additional funding up to the maximum award amount if the funding is available?
What if I need more than the maximum amount?
If you use the entire award, up to the fund’s maximum amount, you must wait 12 months from your initial grant approval date before you are eligible to re-apply for another grant. At that point, if your fund is open and you meet the eligibility requirements, you can apply for a grant again following the same process.
