Updates for FundFinder users: continued service with enhanced options

Patient Advocate Foundation is thrilled to continue offering FundFinder for the thousands of people who rely on its directory and notifications to track the status of patient assistance.  

FundFinder will continue to help you track patient assistance funds from eight charitable foundations—now with enhanced visibility and notification options. 

What’s new  

Last updated 7/1/2026 

  • Expanded fund listings: FundFinder now includes prospective or “identified need” funds that foundations may open in the future—alongside existing active fund listings—so you can track even more opportunities as they become available. 
  • More ways to stay informed: Receive alerts via email, text (SMS), and automated voice calls. You can update your preferences anytime in the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account. 
  • Inclusion of Patient Advocate Foundation’s TotalAssist funds: FundFinder now includes all of Patient Advocate Foundation’s TotalAssist funds, replacing the prior listings for PAN Foundation and Patient Advocate Foundation’s Co-pay Relief program.  

What to expect 

  • FundFinder is still operating as normal while we roll out improvements: You may notice updates to listings and ongoing enhancements as we continue improving the experience. 
  • No action needed for current subscribers: If you’re already signed up for notifications, you’re still subscribed—no action needed. You’ll continue to receive notifications when funds you follow open. You can update your preferences anytime by logging in to FundFinder.org. 
  • Hourly updates: The tool continues to update hourly with the latest information from the foundations. 
  • Reminder: Fund notifications are informational only. Assistance is not guaranteed and is awarded by each organization on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to each foundation’s eligibility criteria. 

FundFinder vs. TotalAssist Fund Notification System – complementary tools 

FundFinder and Patient Advocate Foundation’s TotalAssist Fund Notification System complement each other, and we strongly encourage you to use both tools.  

  • FundFinder sends notifications to users about fund openings across eight foundations. It helps users track the status of available funds across all eight foundations and is updated hourly.  
  • Patient Advocate Foundation’s TotalAssist Fund Notification System sends notifications immediately when a TotalAssist fund opens. It helps users track fund openings that are part of Patient Advocate Foundation’s TotalAssist program.  
     
    *Note that fund opening notifications are sent immediately to registered users. There may be variability in the time it takes to receive a fund notification based on a user’s internet or service provider quality and other network relay delays that impact message delivery. Automated phone call notifications are slightly delayed as compared to email or SMS text notifications. Message and data rates may apply.
