If you use all your funding – paid out grants
If you use the entire balance up to the fund’s maximum award amount, your grant status will be considered fully paid out and your account will be closed. You will receive a letter (in your portal account or by mail) notifying you as such. We hope the TotalAssist program has made your journey easier.
Can I apply for more funding or another grant?
If your grant is fully paid out, you must wait 12 months from your initial grant approval date before you are eligible to re-apply for another grant. For example, if you are approved for a grant on January 2, and use the entire balance up to the maximum by April, you must wait until January 2 of the following year to apply again. At that point, if your fund is open and you meet the eligibility requirements, you can apply for a grant again following the same process.

- Patients and their caregivers can apply directly
- A provider, pharmacy, or nonprofit case manager can apply on behalf of a patient
