This TotalAssist fund covers your out-of-pocket costs for genomic and genetic testing services prescribed by your provider. Covered testing services include genetic tests to determine the risk of developing cancer based on heredity, and genomic testing to diagnose cancer, identify mutation, determine treatment, and monitor cancer growth. This fund does not cover procedures to get sample tissues, x-rays, MRIs, or scans/lab work outside of genetic and genomic test, nor does it cover consumer tests not prescribed by a physician.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this fund, you must:

  • Have been recommended for cancer genetic and/or genomic testing by your provider for genetic predisposition to a specific cancer, or in developing a treatment plan to treat an existing cancer diagnosis
  • Have health insurance that covers your qualifying expenses
  • Have an income at or less than 500% of the Federal Poverty Level, adjusted for your regional Cost of Living Index (COLI).
  • Be a legal resident and receive treatment in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
